About brand

The White Furniture Co. was founded in 1881 in Mebane, NC. In 1902 the first furniture factory was founded in Catawba County, NC, (later to become the heart of the American furniture and textile industry) and was known as the Hickory Manufacturing Co. Hickory Manufacturing only made bedroom furniture, mostly of quarter-sawn oak, which was very expensive at that time and found in only the finest homes such as the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, NC. These two companies operated independently for many years, establishing reputations as premier fine furniture manufacturers. In 1988 they joined forces, consolidating their operations into the Hickory Manufacturing Co. facility in Hickory, NC and became known as the Hickory White Co.

You will make arrangements with them directly for delivery and pay them directly. They must be able to pick-up, safely load and deliver to you with a signed Bill of Lading acknowledging that they have taken responsibility of your item at the time of pick up.

We will not be responsible for any 3rd party delivery issues that may arise.

RETURNS

Items will be accepted back within 48 hours of delivery or pick-up but any and all additional delivery or return charges will apply.

Condition of Items

Every attempt is being made to fully disclose via description and / or photos of any imperfections on each piece.
Since all pieces are man-made objects that have been gently pre-owned or used they will naturally show normal signs of everyday wear-and-tear.
While our goal is to fully disclose all such imperfections as fully as possible some specifics may be unintentionally missed.
Every pre-owned piece has a history and back-story. Perhaps there are visible markings made by the owner or a child or a grandchild or maybe by a cherished friend or family member.
Simply put, gently used comes with wear.
