The Hickory Chair Furniture Co. began one hundred and ten years ago in Hickory, North Carolina with a single product and a simple vision. The product was a made-to-order dining chair. The vision was to combine the authenticity of classic craftsmanship with the efficiency of modern manufacturing. In the decades since, our product range has evolved into an assortment of timeless designs, drawn from significant periods and places, and from the talents of some of the world’s most respected designers. Our original vision, however, remains unchanged. Our company is still guided by a genuine commitment to custom craftsmanship and timely service. Our style is still distinguished by an authentic, timeless spirit. And our furniture is still made to order and made to last, by a team of talented and attentive artisans. We are proud that almost 90% of our furnishings are made in our Hickory, North Carolina workroom.

Shipping is available at an additional cost. You are welcome to use any shipping service you want. We can suggest to you possible third party providers if you wish.

You will make arrangements with them directly for delivery and pay them directly. They must be able to pick-up, safely load and deliver to you with a signed Bill of Lading acknowledging that they have taken responsibility of your item at the time of pick up.

We will not be responsible for any 3rd party delivery issues that may arise.

RETURNS

Items will be accepted back within 48 hours of delivery or pick-up but any and all additional delivery or return charges will apply.

Condition of Items

Every attempt is being made to fully disclose via description and / or photos of any imperfections on each piece.
Since all pieces are man-made objects that have been gently pre-owned or used they will naturally show normal signs of everyday wear-and-tear.
While our goal is to fully disclose all such imperfections as fully as possible some specifics may be unintentionally missed.
Every pre-owned piece has a history and back-story. Perhaps there are visible markings made by the owner or a child or a grandchild or maybe by a cherished friend or family member.
Simply put, gently used comes with wear.
